Resin Drive Construction at Ladynairn Avenue, Kirkcaldy Dysart area.
Here we have a great example of what our team can really do with your existing concrete paths, doorsteps and in this case driveway area.
Here is the process we took to complete this project at Ladynairn Avenue, Kirkcaldy.
1. We pressure washed the concrete surface.
2. We repaired any cracks or defects with hot bitumen.
3. We removed the old chips, underlay and scraped all weeds away.
4. We applied new polyethene and layers a lovely 14 mm gray chip.
5. We laid a row of monoblocks up the edge of the existing surface, allowing 20 mm above the existing height of the surface to allow resin aggregates to be finished appropriately.
6. We concreted a kl kerb along the front of the driveway to allow vehicles to smoothly come on to the surface of the resin driveway.
7. We finally added a kerb around the existing doorstep to finish this with resin bonded aggregates.
If I may say myself, this job looks amazing. Our customer agrees.
